目的 試料中の繊維―樹脂界面をSEM観察することと, 取り出した繊維の力学特性を調べることにより, CFRP, GFRPの吸水劣化の要因を明らかにすることを目的とした.成果 沸騰蒸留中に500hr浸漬したCFRPでは炭素繊維表面にエポキシ樹脂がよく付着していたが, GFRPではガラス繊維表面上に樹脂は, ほとんど付着していないことを見い出した.また, CFRP, GFRPの曲げ強度の低下と取り出した炭素繊維, ガラス繊維の引張強度の比較などから, CFRPやGFRPでは繊維や界面, あるいはマトリックス樹脂の劣化以外にも吸水による強度低下の原因があること, GFRPの場合はガラス繊維の劣化が大きいことを明らかにした.
