In particular, it describes and analyzes the role that public relations and communication played in the earthquake of September 19, 2017 in Mexico. In addition, the different ways in which public relations and communication are presented in the face of a natural disaster are described. It is concluded that public relations are very useful in the face of a disaster, helping to better face and compensate for the damage and challenges that such disasters generate to society.
