付着性粉粒体は貯槽内で架橋を形成す るため,排 出で きないことがあ る。貯槽 を設計す る場合,ホ ッパ ー出 口 寸法の決定は重要な問題であ り,計 算方法は前報1~3)に のべた。貯槽 計画にあた って,ホ ッパー出 口の寸法が制 約され ることがある。 この よ うな場合,所 定の出 口寸法 以内で安定な排出が要求 され る。 架橋のお もな原因は粒 子間付着力であ るが,架 橋 の強 さは貯槽内での粉粒体応力の大 きさに関係す る1。 そ こ で,架 橋を防止す るための一方法 として,貯 蔵 中に生 じ る粉粒体応力を低減す ることがあげ られ る。 本研究では,こ の 目的のため,ホ ッパ ー内部に 円すい 体を設置する ことお よびホ ッパーの円形断面を扇形 ご等 分割するよ うに平板(こ れを仕切板 とよぶ)を 垂直に設 置することを試み る。非付着性粒体を試料 とし,試 料 の 投入状態で垂直応 力を測定 した結果か ら,仕 切板や円す い体が垂直応力の低減 ご有効であ ることを示す。 また, 静的垂直応 力の計算方法 を示 し,計 算結果 を実験結果 と 比較す る。
