マ グネ シウム合金 は,実 用合金 中最 も軽 く,比 強度 に 優れてい ることか ら,近 年,自 動車 関連 の部品 などへ と その利用 が拡大 しっっ あ る1)~3)。しか しなが ら,一 般 に耐食 性に劣 ってい るため,通 常 の使用 においては,化 成処理 や陽極酸化処理,塗 装 などの防錆処理 が施 されて い るが,こ れ ら表面処理方法 間の耐食性比較 や腐食機構 に関 しては,定 量 的なデー タが十分整備 されていない現 状 にある。 そ こで,筆 者 らは,最 近,マ グネシウムダイ カス ト材 の代表 であるAZ91D-F(Al:8.26,Zn:0.64, Fe:0.005(mass%))に っいて,汎 用的 に使用 されて いる陽極酸化(Dow17)お よびクロメー ト(Dow7) を施 し,塩 水噴霧試験環境下 におけるこれ らの腐食挙動 および陽極酸化 による耐食性改善機構 を検討 した4)・5)。 本報 では,そ れ ら検討結果 の一部 を概説す る。
