Studies were carried out on sections of the brain stem of beavers aged from 6 to 18 months. The material for the studies was fixed in neutralized formalin, dehydrated in ethyl alcohol, embedded in parafin and cross-sectioned to 15 µ. Sections were stained with Loffler's methylene blue after Nissl. Every other section was taken for examination. The position and structure of motor nuclei of medulla oblongata of the beaver are described in this paper.
