How to approach a patient with hand tremor

Tremor is an oscillatory, rhythmic involuntary rnovement of a body part and is the commonest movement disorder'o. Though this can involve any part of the body, hands are the commonest. Diagnosis is based on history, good observation of the tremor, guided by relevant clinical examination aided by investigations when indicated. This article reviews the tremor classif ication, associated syndromes and evaluation of a patient.
