1Aceito em: 01/07/2020 Publicado em: 01/09/2020 INTEGRATION OF THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL CLASSES AS DIDACTIC RESOURCE IN TECHNICAL EDUCATIONAL Abstract In technical education, it is essential to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge to form a good professional, and it is up to the teacher to look for ways to integrate these two aspects during classes. The purpose of this work was to verify the level of participation and involvement of students during the teaching of Metrology by associating theoretical content with a practical laboratory class with the possibility of handling the object of study, as a didactic-pedagogical resource in comparison with a traditional theoretical class. As a result, it was possible to observe that the use of didactic resource generated greater participation, understanding and motivation on students during teaching-learning process in comparison with traditional teaching. Thus, it is considered that presenting the theory associated with practice is a path that can present very good results, if well planned and executed in a systematic way.
