International audienceThe educational projects of the socialists of the years 1830-1848 are very numerous and make little reference to the French revolution. They do not claim openly to revolutionary pedagogic thought but are rather crossed by main themes linked to this thought. We can realize it, among others, through three aspects of their speeches. Their purpose is to shape a new man by educating the children and this objective is based on a conception which makes the child a regenerator of society, characteristic of revolutionary thought. Their will also is to form a complete man by granting in this training, as their predecessors, a major importance to the moral education. Finally, they defend the notion of child’s care provided by the collectivity instead of the family, notion connected with the concept of public instruction inherited also of the revolutionary time.Les projets éducatifs des socialistes des années 1830-1848 sont très nombreux et font peu référence à la Révolution française. Ils ne se revendiquent pas ouvertement de la pensée pédagogique révolutionnaire mais en revanche sont traversés par des lignes de force qui sont liées à cette pensée. On peut s’en rendre compte, entre autres, à travers trois aspects de leurs discours. Leur but est de façonner un homme nouveau par l’éducation des enfants et cet objectif prend appui sur une conception de l’enfant comme régénérateur de la société caractéristique de la pensée révolutionnaire. Leur volonté est aussi de former un homme complet en accordant dans cette formation, comme leurs prédécesseurs, une importance majeure à l’éducation morale. Ils défendent enfin la notion de prise en charge de l’enfant par la collectivité au détriment de la famille, notion qui se rattache au concept d’instruction publique hérité lui aussi de l’épisode révolutionnaire
