International audienceThis paper briefly deals with the theme of community resilience in times of environmental disaster. The author analyzes how the action of private citizens, when backed by common, workaday knowledge, can compensate for a lack of official public response. This approach is based upon practices of resilience developed by local citizens movements after the industrial waste pollution disasters in Minamata and Toyama.Cet article aborde le thème de la résilience communautaire lors de catastrophes environnementales. Il s’agit de démontrer comment l’action privée, soutenue par des savoirs profanes, peut apporter une réponse face à l’inertie de l’action publique. L’approche est étayée par une analyse des pratiques de résilience développées par les mouvements citoyens suite aux nuisances industrielles de Minamata et de Toyama.本論文では、環境社会学のパースペクティヴから、生活環境の破壊に面した共同体の再生力について考察する。とりわけ「福島東日本大震災における福島第一原発事故」を例にとりあげる。要点は、専門家や行政システムの無力を前に、民間のひとびとが世俗知を支えにいかに行動するかを解明することにある。ここでのアプローチは、水俣と富山の産業廃棄物による公害病の時代に、市民運動住民運動により発展した再生運動の歴史的分析により補完されるものである
