International audienceThis article intends to question the evolution of business communication in the light of the knowledge and competences that it requires to tackle organizational, economic and technological changes. This is first of all to question the perimeter assigned to this function in relation to the missions defined and supported by professionals. The approach developed in this contribution also relies on an analysis of the representation of the activity developed by these professionals as well as by students involved in this sector.Cet article propose de questionner l’évolution des métiers de la communication sous l’angle des savoirs que ces derniers mobilisent face aux évolutions organisationnelles, économiques et technologiques en cours. Il s’agit tout d’abord de questionner le périmètre attribué à cette fonction au regard des missions définies puis prises en charge par les professionnels.
