International audience<p>Excessive use of IT can transform architecture « image » value rather than value of « use ». The architecture at the crossroads of art, technology and society is seen as a creation of design. The use of new technologies has its place in a dialogue with the manual drawing and embodies the architectural. Thus, this article examines the project’s ability to construct meaning in an environment where the tools tend to take precedence over concepts.</p><p>L’usage excessif de l’informatique peut transformer l’architecture en valeur « image » plutôt qu’en valeur « d’usage ». L’architecture, à la croisée de l’art, de la technique et la société est envisagée comme une création de design. L’utilisation des nouvelles technologies trouve sa place dans un dialogue avec le dessin manuel et incarne le parti architectural. Ainsi cet article interroge la capacité du projet à produire du sens dans un environnement où les outils tendent à prendre le pas sur les concepts.</p
