New 1,2,4-triazoles 3a,b, 4a,b, 1,3,4-oxadiazoles 5a,b, 1,3,4-thiadiazoles 6a,b and 4thiazolidinones 7a,b were synthesized by cyclization of N-substituted 2-[2-(6-methyl-2morpholinopyrimidin-4-ylthio)acetyl]hydrazinecarbothioamides 2a,b under different conditions. The starting 2a,b were readily obtained by acylation of 2-(6-methyl-2-morpholinopyrimidin-4ylthio)acetohydrazide (1) with cyclohexyl or phenyl isothiocyanate. All new compounds were characterized by H, C NMR, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
