In the Sierra de G&#225;dor (Almeria province) terrains belonging to the Internal Betic Zone crop out. According to stratigraphic, structural and petrologic features we have recognised five tectonic units. These units are called, from bottom to top, G&#225;dor-Tur&#243;n, Laujar, Murtas, Felix and Chir&#225;n unit. The lower fourth are ascribed to the Alpuj&#225;rride Complex, whilst the last one is ascribed to the Mal&#225;guide Complex. We also discuss if the Felix unit may be included in the Intermediate Units. The Felix unit represents the Triassic palaeogeographic transition between the Alpuj&#225;rride and the Mal&#225;guide, and it was located between both complexes during the alpine tectono-metamorphic evolution of the Betic Cordillera.  En la Sierra de G&#225;dor (provincia del Almer&#237;a) afloran rocas pertenecientes a la Zona Interna de la Cordillera B&#233;tica. En este sector hemos reconocido un total de cinco unidades tect&#243;nicas, en funci&#243;n de sus caracter&#237;sticas estratigr&#225;ficas, estructurales y petrol&#243;gicas. Estas unidades se denominan, de abajo a arriba, unidad de G&#225;dor-Tur&#243;n, unidad de Laujar, unidad de Murtas, unidad de Felix y unidad de Chir&#225;n. Las cuatro m&#225;s bajas las asignamos al Complejo Alpuj&#225;rride, mientras que la m&#225;s alta la asignamos al Complejo Mal&#225;guide. Se discute adem&#225;s la posible inclusi&#243;n de la unidad de Felix dentro de las denominadas Unidades Intermedias. La unidad de Felix representa el tr&#225;nsito paleogeogr&#225;fico durante el Tri&#225;sico entre el dominio Alpuj&#225;rride y el Mal&#225;guide, y estar&#237;a situada entre ambos complejos durante la evoluci&#243;n tectono-metam&#243;rfica alpina de la Cordillera B&#233;tica
