Izvlecek: Mozartovi operi Don Giovanni in Die Zauberflote sta bili v Zagrebu uprizorjeni sele po letu 1830. Clanek se ukvarja z njuno recepcijo skozi analizo kritik Mozartovih oper v pomembnejsih zagrebskih casopisih 19. stoletja v kontekstu zagrebskega glasbenega oziroma operetnega življenja, z analizo domacih interpretativnih in odrskih zmogljivosti, z glasbeno kritiko in porocili o odzivih obcinstva. Kljucne besede: Mozart, Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflote, Zagreb, Croatian National Theatre, 19. stoletje, recepcija Abstract: Mozart’s operas Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflote were staged in Zagreb only from the 1830s. The paper deals with their reception through the analysis of critical reviews of Mozart’s operas in major 19th-century Zagreb newspapers within the contet of the city’s music/operatic life, local interpretative and stage forces, music criticism and reports on the reactions of the audience.
