Pre-exposure chemoprophylaxis &amp;#8220;PrEP&amp;#8221;, a new prevention tool against HIV for high-risk populations, has been available in France since 2016 in France. The first prescription should occur in CeGIDD or hospital and, its renewal and follow-up can be made by the GP. The analysis of barriers to prescribing PrEP and its follow-up by GP is essential to guide public health actions in order to reach the objectives necessary to observe an inflection of new HIV contaminations.
