L’article met en evidence la perception, en Belgique francophone, de la premiere phase de la guerre d’Indochine (1946-1950) et, plus particulierement, son impact sur l’image de la France. Il montre comment, dans le contexte d’un conflit encore considere comme colonial, la France a du faire face a une double contre-propagande, l’une d’extreme gauche, l’autre dans le camp catholique. Il souligne enfin l’absence d’une reponse francaise appropriee, coherente et efficace.
