A.   taiwaniensis    Terayama, 1989 is proposed as a junior synonym of    A.   risii    Forel, 1900.    Anochetus   gracilis    Karavaiev, 1925 is restored from synonymy of    A.   risii   . A key based on the worker caste is provided for the Chinese species.
