The text aims to address and analyze the theme of non-formal education in the context and way of life of traditional fishing territories as an educational space, discussing the reading and analysis of the main references on the theme of non-formal education and traditional fishing territory, related to the development of the participation of the critical subject and in the defense of the traditional territory and in the situations of decision making.
