Dieser Aufsatz stellt erste Erkenntnisse zum Zusammenhang von gewaltsamem Konflikt, Besch\ue4ftigung und Unterentwicklung zusammenfassend dar. Bisher wurden diese drei Themenkomplexe in der \ud6konomie selten gemeinsam diskutiert, was sowohl f\ufcr die Analyse als auch f\ufcr Empfehlung entwicklungspolitischer Ma\udfnahmen nachteilig sein k\uf6nnte. Durch Beispiele aus seiner eigenen Forschung illustriert der Autor, dass die Analyse aller drei Themenkomplexe notwendig f\ufcr eine nachhaltige Entwicklungspolitik ist.This paper aims at giving first insights into the interconnectedness of violent conflict, employment and underdevelopment. So far economists discussed these topics rather independently, which lead to shortcomings in analysis as well as in policy recommendations concerning development policy. By giving examples from his own research the author shows that an analysis of those three issues is necessary for a sustainable development
