TRABALHO EM EQUIPE MULTIPROFISSIONAL NA SAÚDE: DA CONCEPÇÃO AO DESAFIO DO FAZER NA PRÁTICA 1 MULTI-PROFESSIONAL TEAMWORK IN HEALTH: FROM CONCEPTION TO THE CHALLENGE OF ITS PRACTICE

The Curriculum Guidelines for Health Undergraduate Courses were instituted to allow some changes in the formation of health professionals and to consolidate the Public Health System. Therefore, the aim of this study is to evaluate the National Curriculum Guidelines for Undergraduate Health Courses and to highlight the character of the multi-professional teamwork by discussing it within the perspective of the complex thinking. The National Curriculum Guidelines of nine courses demonstrated that one or more items of Art. 3o of the professional competencies and skills refer to the need of multi-professional healthcare teamwork. The conclusion shows that the curriculum guidelines constitute an important mechanism of transformation of professional practices; however, the guidelines alone do not guarantee a professional teamwork. Therefore, it is essential to transform the traditional fragmented thought, which is linear and excessively disciplinary, into a complex thinking that may be able to reconnect different knowledge..
