Resumen:  El Arbre exemplifical ofrece numerosas claves a proposito de la evolucion del exemplum luliano. En el texto con uyen algunas formas ya ensayadas por el autor (ejemplos verosimiles, fabulas) con otras narraciones de aspecto mucho mas original, protagonizadas por personi caciones de todos los entes, materiales o espi- rituales, del Arte («ejemplos artisticos»). Esos cuentos se presentan alli de manera desnuda, sin sujecion a un marco novelistico o discursivo, al modo de un ordenadisimo instrumentum al servicio del lector. El Arbre exemplifical desborda asi su intencion inicial (la iluminacion del Arbre de ciencia ), para erigirse en un repertorio de formas preparadas para su insercion en cualquier discurso. Esas formas, ademas, se ofrecen como modelos para la creacion de nuevas secuencias, con rmando el caracter experimental e inacabado que ostenta tantas veces la literatura ejemplar del Beato.  Palabras clave:  Ramon Llull. Experimentacion narrativa.  Abstract:  The Arbre exemplifical occupies a very important space in the evolution of Llull’s exemplum. The text joins various forms which are already utilized by Llull (realistic examples, fables) with other stories of much more originality, featuring personi cations of all entities, material or spiritual, from the Art («artistic examples»). Those stories are stripped of their attachment to a ctional or discursive framework, and function as an orderly instrumentum to serve the readers. The Arbre exemplifical exceeds its initial intention (to illuminate the Arbre de Ciencia ), by establishing itself as a repertoire of narrations prepared for insertion into any speech. These narrations are also offered as models for the creation of new stories, confirming the experimental and un nished character that frequently embodies Llull’s exemplary literature.  Keywords:  Ramon Llull.
