ABSTRACT The research reported in this article aims to analyze the moderator actions undertaken by teachers in the forums content with good practice developed in an area of the Special Program Degree in Education –PRESLIED– from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, given during the academic period October 2011-February 2012. The research is based on a conceptual framework sociocultural approach, consisting of: a) an interactive-systemic tetrahedron formed by factors of content, student, teacher and environmental technical context, appropriate for the analysis of educational activities in digital or mixed environments; b) A mediational model of communication, according to which every act in the communicational sequences can be understood as action of the subject on the environment, as a statement of the subject or as an expression of construction or transformation of the subject. The research, based on a qualitative approach, used the method of content analysis to infer the acts of the subject matter from their verbal statements; also it used the constant comparative data-data and data-theory for building categories. The investigation identified 35 types of moderating actions, classified into four types: startup and shutdown; setting the climate; participation in the discussion; guidance to the participants and to promote and share applications or processes. RESUMEN La investigacion que reporta el presente articulo tuvo el objetivo de analizar las acciones de moderacion realizadas por los docentes en los foros de contenido desarrollados con buena practica en una materia del Programa Especial de Licenciatura en Educacion –PRESLIED-, de la Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, dados durante el periodo academico octubre 2011 – febrero 2012. La investigacion se sustenta en un marco conceptual con enfoque sociocultural, constituido por: a) un tetraedro interactivo-sistemico formado por factores del contenido, del estudiante, del docente y del contexto tecnico ambiental, apropiado para el analisis de actividades educativas en entornos digitales o mixtos; b) un modelo mediacional de la comunicacion, segun el cual cada acto en las secuencias comunicacionales puede comprenderse como accion del sujeto sobre el medio, como declaracion del sujeto o como expresion de construccion o transformacion del sujeto. La investigacion, sustentada en un enfoque cualitativo, empleo el metodo del analisis de contenido para inferir en los tres foros virtuales de la materia los actos del sujeto a partir de sus manifestaciones verbales; asimismo, utilizo la comparacion constante dato-dato y dato-teoria para la construccion de categorias. La investigacion permitio identificar 35 tipos de acciones moderadoras, clasificadas en cuatro tipos: de inicio y cierre; de establecimiento del clima; de participacion en la discusion; de orientacion a los participantes y de promocion y solicitudes de acciones o procesos.
