Web crawlers – also known as spiders or search robots – are programs that implement the process of navigating the pages and/or documents of the Web in order to collect specific information, statistics or save site resources. The article discusses the job description and algorithms for the automatic collection of information. As testing, the task of extracting data of all articles submitted in the electronic form of the Young Scientist magazine was carried out.
