Review Article Higher mathematics courses have a high degree of abstraction, rigorous reasoning, and extensive application. It is feasible and necessary to create a "gold course" in advanced mathematics courses, and it is an excellent carrier for the challenge of "gold course". As one of the compulsory courses, higher mathematics courses in colleges and universities have become an important issue in higher education. Through an in-depth analysis of the background of the information age, this paper proposes a "golden class" model to improve students' enthusiasm, interactivity, and initiative, improve students' knowledge absorption efficiency, and enable students to adapt to new industries more effectively.
