Este trabalho objetiva analisar as acoes de formacao continuada do supervisor de ensino no Programa Ler e Escrever da Secretaria da Educacao do Estado de Sao Paulo no HTPC - Horario de Trabalho Pedagogico Coletivo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, bibliografica e documental, com fundamentacao em autores da perspectiva critica. Apos as analyses, verificou-se que os assuntos abordados nos documentos pesquisados se referem exclusivamente as orientacoes do Programa “Ler e Escrever” e nao se cogitou incluir nessas reunioes outras concepcoes de trabalho pedagogico. Dessa forma, o que deveria ser formacao continuada ministrada pelo supervisor de ensino, passa a ser apenas um treinamento, pois o professor e excluido do processo de reflexao e elaboracao do curriculo e se torna apenas um executor do que foi estabelecido em outras instâncias. Programa Ler e Escrever.  THE TEACHING SUPERVISOR’S ACTIONS AND THE CONTINUING EDUCATION OF TEACHERS INVOLVED IN LITERACY FOR THE “LER E ESCREVER” PROGRAM Abstract : This paper aims at analyzing the Teaching Supervisor’s continuing education actions in the “Ler e Escrever” Program (“Reading and Writing” Program) from the Sao Paulo State Department of Education during the HTPC - Horario de Trabalho Pedagogico Coletivo (Hours of Collective Pedagogical Work). It involves qualitative, bibliographic and documentary research based on critical perspective authors. After the analysis, it was observed that the covered topics were exclusively related to the “Ler e Escrever” Program guidelines and that no attempt was made to include any other teaching conceptions in these meetings. Based on that, what should be considered continuing education provided by the teaching supervisor ends up being understood as shear training, since the teacher is excluded from the process of curriculum reflection and creation and becomes a mere replicator of what has been previously defined in other instances.
