espanolGeodiversidad, geopatrimonio, geoconservacion y geoturismo son terminos relativamente recientes en la produccion cientifica en geociencias, y se muestran fuertemente ligados a la geologia y al patrimonio geologico. Para permitir el avance de la tematica en la geomorfologia, traemos una reflexion en la que proponemos el uso de los terminos morfopatrimonio y morfodiversidad para tratar el paisaje, que es elemento geomorfologico, geografico, espacial, por excelencia. En adicion, presentamos la ampliacion de la tipologia de geomorfositios, definiendo la existencia de geomorfositios sedimentarios, geomorfositios cristalinos, geomorfositios costeros, geomorfositios fluviales y geomorfositios carsticos. A pesar de estas posibles adiciones, cabe la pregunta: frente a la realidad nacional: ?vamos a hablar de geopatrimonio y geoconservacion solo en el papel? EnglishGeodiversity, geoheritage, geoconservation and geotourism are relatively recent terms in the scientific production in geosciences, and they are very strongly tied to geology and geological heritage (geoheritage). To allow the advancement of the theme in geomorphology, we present a reflection on which we propose the use of the terms morpho-heritage and morpho-diversity to deal with the landscape, which is geomorphological, geographical and spatial element par excellence. In addition, we propose the extension of the typology of geomorphostites, defining the existence of sedimentary geomorphostites, crystalline geomorphosites, coastal geomorphosites, fluvial geomorphostites, and karst geomorphosites. In spite of these possible additions, a question still faces the national reality: will we talk about geoheritage and geoconservation only on the paper? portuguesGeodiversidade, geopatrimonio, geoconservacao e geoturismo sao termos relativamente recentes na producao cientifica em geociencias, e mostram-se fortemente atrelados a geologia e ao patrimonio geologico. Para permitir o avanco da tematica na geomorfologia, trazemos uma reflexao na qual propomos o uso dos termos morfopatrimonio e morfodiversidade para tratar da paisagem, que e elemento geomorfologico, geografico, espacial, por excelencia. Em adicao, propomos a ampliacao da tipologia de geomorfossitios, definindo a existencia de geomorfossitios sedimentares, geomorfossitios cristalinos, geomorfossitios costeiros, geomorfossitios fluviais e geomorfossitios carsticos. Apesar desses possiveis adendos, cabe ainda a pergunta: frente a realidade nacional: sera que ficaremos a falar de geopatrimonio e geoconservacao apenas no papel?
