espanolEste articulo describe y analiza las experiencias de las y los chilenos refugiados en las casas de refugio de la Capital Federal y Gran Buenos Aires bajo la orbita de la Comision Argentina para los Refugiados (CAREF) entre 1973 y 1983. El punto de partida es la pregunta por los efectos del contexto represivo, para responder que significaba estar refugiado en la Argentina durante el tercer gobierno peronista y de la dictadura militar. Asimismo, a partir de constatar que la condicion de refugiados puso en juego nuevas dinamicas familiares y formas de convivencia basada en la comunidad, se analizan los conflictos asi como los procesos de construccion de lazos solidarios y se demuestra que tuvieron diferente carnadura en varones y mujeres. EnglishThis article describes and analyzes the experiences of Chilean refugees in the refuge houses of the Capital Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires under the orbit of the Argentine Commission for Refugees (CAREF) between 1973 and 1983. O ponto de partida e o Ele perguntou sobre os efeitos do contexto repressivo, para responder o que significava ser um refugiado na Argentina durante o terceiro governo peronista e a ditadura militar.
