(Background and Purpose) Science museums have made various efforts to improve the quality of children's education, but nowadays, exhibitions at science museums are planned with the aim of raising the participation of visitors. As a result, the interior of the pavilion has faced limitations in terms of budget and policy that have affected experience, special video, dynamic video, play display, and interactive elements. Science museums should be designed with appropriate experience elements and special exhibitions to raise the qualitative effect of education through various stories, experiences, and theories of scientific knowledge. However, today's science museums have not achieved the qualitative effect of the education of the pavilion, which requires an excessive budget and highly specialized equipment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the exhibition type and the preference of experiential media according to which exhibition plan is most effective in the exhibition techniques of science museums. (Method) In this study, we conducted research on the importance of exhibitions and their educational effects through the analysis of domestic science museums applying ICT, experiential opinions, and reliable prediction. The research proceeds as follows. First, the study gathers the characteristics of domestic exhibitions’ forms, functions, purposes of exhibition space, and composition of exhibition space. Second, the study analyzes the theoretical examination of ICT and the composition of the exhibition form and space that are informed by ICT, and its effects on the exhibition. Third, we analyze the case applying ICT in Korea and analyze the structure and elements of experiential space that are installed through expert opinion and prediction. (Results) In domestic science museums, 30.9% of participating exhibits and 37.9% of dynamic image exhibits are the highest among the most common types of exhibits, and 30.3% of operation-operated exhibits, 9.3% of interactive exhibits, and 10.6% of special images were partly reflected, while the experimental exhibitions were 1.3% and the play exhibitions were 3.3%. (Conclusions) This study analyzed the exhibition program and exhibition form structure through the Delphi analysis of domestic science museums applying ICT, and the result was derived from the qualities of manipulation, interactive, participation, experiment, dynamic image, and special image. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of exhibit space of science museums and experiential museums, and to understand how to organize exhibition items that can be easily understood and accessed by the public through the principles and experiences of science.
