Memórias da educação fisica escolar e escolha do curso de graduação/Memories of school physical education and choice of degree course

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between memories of physical education and choice of undergraduate students of Physical Education, Faculty of Serra Gaucha. The methodology was characterized by the phenomenological approach of the life stories of academics with a qualitative approach. Data collection was performed by analysis of the introductions of the memorials of academics in the process of completion of undergraduate and interpretation of information was done by analyzing the contents. 70 memorials were analyzed by academics, attending the course Topics in Education and Health in the academic periods of the 1st and 2nd semesters of 2009 and 1st half of 2010. ISSN 2595-6825 13566 was concluded that the professional choice for Physical Education course is greatly influenced by memories of the school environment, but also the influence of the physical education teacher in choosing the course of Physical Education.
