PRODUÇÃO DE BIODIESEL A PARTIR DO APROVEITAMENTO DO ÓLEO DE COCO OBTIDO DE MATERIAL VEGETAL DA REGIÃO DO SEMIÁRIDO POTIGUAR / BIODIESEL PRODUCTION FROM THE USE OF COCONUT OIL OBTAINED FROM PLANT MATERIAL FROM THE SEMIARID REGION OF POTIGUAR

As a result of the inevitability of diversifying the energy matrix, there are currently many studies focused on energy production from alternative sources. In this sense, this work aimed to present results of the study of the production of biodiesel from the extravirgin and crude coconut oils with stubble. The oils and biodiesel produced were characterized in relation to their physical-chemical properties and some data were quite satisfactory when compared to the literature. Among the studies carried out, it was noticed that the biodiesel derived from crude oil with stubble, produced by the methyl route with acid catalysis and a molar ratio of 1: 3 (oil: alcohol) presented specifications in accordance with the ANP reference values, bringing results research satisfactory.
