PASTAGEM DE CAPIM XARAÉS CONSORCIADA COM ESTILOSANTES CAMPO GRANDE SOB DIFERENTES DOSES DE FÓSFORO

The productivity of tropical pastures is limited by the low natural fertility of the soils, with phosphorus deficiency being the main limiting factor for the establishment of pastures. The objective was to evaluate the effect of increasing doses of phosphorus (P) in the establishment of pastures consortium of Brachiaria brizantha cv. Xaraés with Stylosanthes guianensis cv. Campo Grande, under the chemical-bromatological composition and dry matter yield (RMS). The experimental design was in randomized blocks, with two repetitions, arranged in a 2 x 4 factorial scheme, the factors consisting of two sampling times (February and April) and four doses of P (30, 60, 90 and 120 kg/ha). The Campo Grande style was not established to characterize the consortium, due to lack of adaptation to the soil and climate. It was verified that there was no influence of the interaction of sampling times and P doses in the evaluated variables, however, there was a significant effect of the different sampling times in all variables for Xaraés grass. P doses influenced only the crude protein (PB) content. In this scenario, P doses contributed to increase the PB contents of Xaraés grass, the highest dry matter yield response was observed at the most favorable time for grass growth, since the consortium was not effective in supplying the nitrogen demand for the grass.
