Due to the big food waste in the country and almost no proper place for it, the use of organic waste for the production of organic fertilizer and the following production of organomineral fertilizer, which has many advantages compared to other fertilizers, is an economical and environmentally feasible way, which is the objective of this work. The performance of composting with the organic residues showed to be feasible, and the process presented all the desired phases, lasting month and a half with a total of 15,43 lbs of organic matter, in the humidified state. All analyzes performed on organic matter were satisfying, proving their physical and chemical quality, which is an important point for the production of fertilizer. The produced organic fertilizer obtained a formulation of 0.6-1.1-0.7 and the mineral fertilizer used a formulation of 9.2-9.2-9.2, as the organomineral fertilizer is a junction of the two the formulation obtained was of 9.8-10.3-9.9, which showed a total NPK blend of 30% within the standards established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply which is at least 10% and this one has the characteristic to bring a better efficiency in relation to the physical, biological and chemical quality for the soil, besides many other advantages presented in this work that also has some researches which prove the efficiency of the organomineral fertilizer for productivity in comparison to the conventional ones.
