This study aimed to determine the best times and frequencies of feeding for fingerlings Pacamã (Lophiosilurus alexandri) based on performance, survival and carcass parameters. Were used 160 fingerlings Pacamã, with average weight of 2.7 ± 0.01 g, distributed in a completely randomized design with four treatments and five repetitions over a period of 30 days. Those treatments consisted of the frequency variation of feeding, with a morning feeding, a afternoon feeding, twice a day and three daily meals. Those treatments consisted of frequency variation and feeding periods. The parameters for final weight, weight gain, daily weight gain, survival, total length, height, head length, carcass yield and carcass without the head of the fingerlings showed no significant difference (P> 0.05) between those treatments. The standard length and width of the fingerlings pacamã body fed twice a day, were higher (P <0.05) compared to those receiving only one feeding in the morning hours 8am. It is recommended to give ration at 8 and 18h for fingerlings pacamã, in water with temperature close to 24.5 °C and 26.8 °C, respectively, for morning and afternoon, and dissolved oxygen near to 5, 0 mg / l.
