L'étude des archives de l'Archivio di Stato di Roma sur les Commissions militaires de la XXXe division, en relation avec les actes de brigandage, permet de s'interroger sur la nature des rapports entre l'œuvre d'intégration napoléonienne de l'Italie centrale et les populations rurales du département des Bouches- du-Tibre. Les nombreux procès-verbaux, minutes et avis d'exécution permettent de se faire une idée relativement précise des contraintes qu'une administration moderne, tatillonne et répressive, a fait peser sur les populations agropastorales, les plus pauvres du Latium, ainsi que de la résistance plus ou moins organisée qui a vu le jour dans ces contrées annexées par l'Empire.Paul Bergounioux, Banditry and Repression in the Bouches-du-Tibre, 1810- 1813 The use of documents found in the Archivio di Stato di Roma for the military commissions of the 20th Division dealing with acts of banditry help to reveal the nature of the relationship between the work of Napoleonic integration in central Italy and the rural populations in the department of the Bouches-du-Tibre. The numerous reports, minutes of meetings, administrative decisions give a fairly accurate idea of the constraints that a modern administration, repressive and nitpicking, imposed on agricultural and pastoral populations , the poorest in Latium, as well as the resistance more or less organized that appeared in this region annexed by the Empire.Bergounioux Paul.
