The state of psychoemotional stress arising in connection with the preparation and passing of an exam can cause stress disorder in high school students. At this time, information overload occurs, which increases the psychoemotional stress and the general level of anxiety of school students. For high school students and graduates, the problem of stress disorders, especially in connection with the preparation for exams becomes one of the most relevant today. Informatization of the educational space, proclaimed one of the priority areas of modernization of education, makes the use of information technology in the psychological and pedagogical support of students of the school one of the most promising areas. The introduction of a functional biocontrol system has been successfully used for many years in foreign practice. In our country, this effective method is being introduced relatively recently and mainly in clinical practice. Descriptions of its use in education are rare. However, the use of information technology in the prevention and correction of stress disorders is probably one of the most promising areas. The biofeedback technology implements the method of biological feedback (BFB). When implementing the biofeedback method, physiological parameters of the body (body temperature, blood pressure, pulse, galvanic skin reaction, etc.) are recorded using special sensors and converted into computer feedback signals that a person perceives as sound or visual row. Thus, the training person has a rare opportunity to see or hear signals that correspond to the state of the functions of his body, and, in addition, to monitor in real time what changes occur in the process of developing the skill of voluntary self-regulation. Our experience shows that in the educational institution it is best to organise psycho-correctional work making use of biofeedback program in an individual form, in the psychologist’s office equipped with computer equipment, an indicator that records physiological parameters and special software. The results of the study showed a decrease in the level of anxiety, as well as an improvement in the indicators of self-esteem in high school students involved in a psychological correction program using the BOS method.
