It is shown that the inert properties of a stationary random process can beexpressed in terms of the ratio of its correlation interval to the doubledvariance. When using a fixed value of the Planck constant h as aproportionality factor, this ratio can be used as an equivalent of a massstandard. It is proposed to use thermal noise as a reference Gaussianstationary random process.
