We analyze the classical capacity of the generalized Pauli channels generatedvia the memory kernel master equations. For suitable engineering of the kernelparameters, the evolution with non-local noise effects can produce dynamicalmaps with higher capacity than the purely Markovian evolution. We provideinstructive examples for qubit and qutrit evolution. Interestingly, similarbehavior is not observed when analyzing the time-local master equations.
