This paper describes self-oscillators composed of cantilever type magnetoelastic ribbon resonators as a wireless viscosity sensor. We examined relationship between the viscosity and oscillation amplitude for various mixtures of water and glycerin. The viscosity of 0.314 P could be detected by dipping the edge of the cantilever type resonator into the mixtures. Consequently, we confirmed that a cantilever type ribbon resonator is suitable for measuring viscosity of the high viscosity liquid.
