The hormonal changes in menopaused woman cause various health pains such as vasomotor, psychological and physiological complaints. These pain can be treated with Hormon Replacement Therapy (HRT) using synthetic or natural hormones. According to previous research, basil herb (Ocimum americanum L.) was believed to have potential estrogenic effect. The purpose of this research was to determine the optimization and estrogenic potency of 70% and 96% ethanol extract of basil herb on female rats.
