The results of studies on the study of Apus concniformis Sh. in rice crops of the Tashkent region. This is the main pest that lives in rice agroecosystem. Apus concniformis Sh. inflicts great harm by destroying young seedlings of rice. In the variant with a crustacean density per 1 m2 — 10, 15 and 20 specimens accordingly, death of sprouts was observed — 10.3, 18.4, 23.8 and 30.8. In areas where the density of the crustacean per 1 m2 was from 5–15 specimens. The crop yield decreased by 10.3–30.8% or 7.1–21.2 centner per hectare.
