HPLC analysis of pigments of the symbiotic algae of the coral Goniastl-ea aspera (Verrill) showed the presence of the chlorophylls a and c2 (chl a and c,) and the carotenoids pendlnin, diadinoxanthin, diatoxanthin and p-carotene.
