eISSN 2093-6338 rst identi ed as a novel species in 2007 through clinical isolates biochemically similar to CDC groups II-h and II-c [1]. Here, we report the rst clinical case of C. hominis bacteremia, which was con rmed by MALDI-TOF MS and 16S rRNA gene sequencing. This study was approved by the Institutional Review Board for Human Research, Yonsei University, Severance Hospital (4-20180685).
