In the paper is analyzed in details the first global bank crisis – the crisis of 1763 year, when more than one hundred banks went bust. These events inseparably linked with the Seven Years War (1756 – 1763), which can be characterized as the global conflict in Europe, in the Northern and Southern America, Africa, India, Asia. It is considered three conceptions of this crisis: 1) the conception of Isabel Schnabel (today she is member of the ECB’s Executive Board) and of Hyun Song Shin (today he is Economic Advisor and member of the BIS Executive Committee): 2) the conception of the famous French historian of economy Fernand Braudel; 3) the conception of the Englishspeaking Wikipedia. The author proves the possibility of application of academic V.L.Makarov’s model RUSEC to the understanding of the crisis of 1763 year.
