The article explores the features of emerging stock markets (using the example of a new cryptocurrency segment and sets out the model of M. Faber, designed for their analysis. The dynamics of the Bitcoin exchange rate (BTC) during the periods of its greatest volatility is shown and the correspondence of its exchange rate dynamics (in dollar terms) to six phases Models of M. Faber. The article considers the possibilities of modifying the model of M. Faber on the basis of an aggregated approach, which represents the oscillation cycle of the cryptocurrency in question in the form of three phases: rise, fall, “side”. An approximate estimate of the quantitative parameters of this cycle for a week-cycle simulation. On the basis of the modified model M. Faber made an approximate forecast of the dynamics of the course to BTC 2022
