The purpose of the study: a systematic analysis of the specifics of the economy of the rocket and space engineering industry and taking into account features in the methodology of its strategy and long-term planning. The emphasis is made on the use of economic and mathematical methods for this purpose, including agent-based modeling of the process of formation of target complex programs for the development of the industry, the feasibility of programs, evaluation of their effectiveness.
