野生オナガガモ(Anas acuta)の血漿総タンパク測定法について比較検討した。ビウレット法に基づくウエットケミストリー法およびドライケミストリー法による血漿総タンパク測定値(平均±標準偏差,以下同)は,それぞれ3.51±0.35g/dLと3.49±0.35g/dLであり,2法による測定値間には有意な相関が認められ(p<0.001,r=0.9763),この測定値が本種の冬季における参考値になると考えた。屈折計による測定値は3.86±0.45g/dLで,他の2法で求められた値に比べると10%ほど高値を示した。屈折計とウエットケミストリー法もしくはドライケミストリー法による測定値間にはそれぞれ有意な相関が認あられた(p<0.001,r=0.9414およびp<0.001,r=0.9251)。屈折計測定値からウエットケミストリー分析法の測定値は,以下の換算式より求あられた。y(g/dL)=0.738x(g/dL)+0.659ただし,xは屈折計による測定値,yはウエットケミストリー法による測定値。
