This report presents empirical research results and proposes an effective curing method for selfcompacting concrete under climatic conditions of Vietnam. The experiments were performed on concrete samples with different grades (N/B = 0.35 and N/B = 0.3) under different weather conditions. Four curing methods were applied for the experiments, which are plastic cover, pouring water, no curing and standard curing. Then, the amount of water lost by evaporation, plastic deformation and compressive strength of concrete were determined and evaluated. As a result, the plastic-cover curing method is concluded as the most effective method of the four methods. Hence, the procedures and technical guidelines of plastic-cover curing method are proposed. Accordingly, the initial curing phase takes less than 1 hour, during which the water evaporation of concrete is controlled. The second curing phase happens within the next 5 to 7 days depending on the specific weather conditions.
