That is why today big part of the world is working with the development of skills (know-do), and the research question arises, Are the students of the career of Pedagogy in Chemistry and Sciences of the University of Playa Ancha developing the competences established in the graduation profile?. Due to this question is that a survey was generated validated by experts to collect information from students regarding the competences established in the career of Pedagogy in Chemistry and Science of the University of Playa Ancha, to assess the degree of coherence that exists between the competencies declared in the different training programs of the branches studied and the profile of graduation declared by the career. Achieving this, generating a constant between the students of the different generations, and evidencing the acquisition of the competences established in the profile of egress. This allows to generate a contrast of the promotions of students that are under the rules of the innovated plan and to demonstrate the change that occurs when focusing the education to the work by competences. Therefore, the first-year student of the race has less skills in comparison to a student who is studying fourth year of the same career.
