Ce papier propose un bilan de travaux de recherche dans le domaine de l'eco-dimensionnement des convertisseurs d'energie electrique. Les criteres consideres sont reduits a deux : l'energie primaire consommee sur l'ensemble due cycle de vie et la quantite de matieres premieres necessaires. La methodologie d'optimisation du dimensionnement est ensuite presentee. Puis quelques resultats sont donnes concernant des transformateur a frequence fixe, un moteur electrique a fonctionnement impulsionnel, un systeme photovoltaique autonome, et enfin, les constituants d'un reseau de distribution en courant continu dans les bâtiments. This paper provides an overview of research in the field of eco-design of electric power converters. The considered criteria are limited to two: the primary energy consumed over the entire life cycle (Gross Energy Requirement) and the amount of raw materials. The methodology for optimizing the sizing is then presented. Then some results are given for several cases: a transformer at fixed-frequency, an electric motor in pulsed operation, a stand-alone photovoltaic system, and finally, components of a DC distribution network in buildings.
