This research was conducted to produce a module with a contextual approach on two-variable linear equations material for class VIII junior high school students. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of the module produced in terms of feasibility and practicality. This research is a development research which refers to the 4D development model which includes four main stages, namely define, design, development, and disseminate (spread). The instruments used were: an assessment expert questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The subjects of this study were VIII grade students of SMP N 16 Malang. The quality of the module seen from the feasibility aspect is included in the good classification with an average score of 3.04 on a scale score range 4. So the module is valid. Judging from the practical aspect, the module is stated practical with the average score of the student response questionnaire, namely 3.70 which is included in the very good classification. Based on the results of the validation of expert subjects that have been described, all aspects of the module assessment include material aspects, presentation aspects, language aspects, and aspects of the relationship between material and in the real world it can be concluded that the module is valid and practical.
